Judy Mandeville has been integrating the arts with education, social issues, inner health and therapeutic purposes for over 30 years. She holds a BA in Modern Dance and a MA in Special Education. She has choreographed and taught all age groups, from pre-schoolers to seniors, and has worked in higher education since 1990 at Whitworth and Gonzaga Universities, teaching Physicality and Spiritual Formation, Tap, and Ministry and the Arts. Judy has long worked with marginalized individuals and groups who have been abused, isolated, bullied or ridiculed. She uses movement and writing as tools to unlock and better understand painful and dehabilitating circumstances. Her current involvements include working with developmentally disabled adults and with children and parents dealing with cancer.
Whether I’m working on a local or international scale, through dance and the arts, I want to help people find their own individual value and offer insights toward joy, hope, and growth. -Judy
